"You have value, you have worth, you deserved acceptance from the moment of your birth..."

The story of Muffin Cat began almost four decades ago in central New York, when a boy drew a picture of his imaginary friend on his bedroom door. Not long after there was a Muffin Cat themed birthday party. Wherever he went, Muffin Cat followed. 30 years later, during the Syrian refugee crisis and after the birth of his son, he was inspired to give Muffin Cat a story.

Today, The Adventures of Muffin Cat is not only about sharing and kindness, but about loving yourself and loving others.

Just as Muffin Cat learns to understand his adversaries - we too can practice empathy and welcome those who are outside our borders.
